Should I just cut them off?

So I am currently not dating anyone. My friend is talking to a guy and she keeps insisting she wants to get me with him. I never said yes I never asked to talk to him none of that. She just wanted to do it so she finally says I never sent a picture and etc. in the midst of her trying to get me to date him her best friends says that I should because if she were me she would talk to him. I finally send a picture because th eye kept badgering me. so he could see me. I finally decide to do it. Then nothing that happens is he adds me on Facebook and never says anything. So I don’t either. This was like earlier in the week. Today they say, “ well he told me you was playing and to put him on my best friend”. I say I mean whatever ut didn’t matter. But I notice that they’ve already been talking for a minute. Like longer than today when they told me that. That’s weird. I remember showing her a picture and saying he was cute there the other night. They have BEEN talking. It’s so weird and uncomfortable. Why try and get me with him if they were already talking? Am I overreacting?
