It depends on what you're looking for and how lucky (or unlucky) you are. I think to an extent, most people want to be in some form of relationship in hopes it brings happiness, fulfillment, compassion, love... all that sappy stuff. But realistically? Dating sucks . I don't know too many people, myself included, that want to date anymore because the cons outweigh the pros. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of dating: if you're patient, know exactly what you want and are looking for in a relationship, and willing to dig through crap to find that rare gem? Go for it! But if you're happy single, burned out of disappointment and nonsense associated with dating/dating apps... or just need a break? Stay single until you feel like dating is worth it.
