Should the man make the first move even after you’ve been intimate?

I’m old fashioned and believe the man should chase what he likes. Now once he’s done that and we’ve already slept together, I still want him to initiate the romantic stuff. Sometimes I feel like starting it off but I’m awkward bc I feel out of place and I’m just used to the man doing it, but then I’m disappointed if he doesn’t! Lol help

As an adult, it is your responsibility to invest in your romantic relationships. Not investing in the romance of your relationship and expecting your man to do it is not only extremely lazy and inconsiderate of his feelings; it opens up the opportunity for another woman to take the initiative in your place.

It is both you and your partner's responsibility to make an effort to keep your love alive.

Well, in that case, I would just let you know from the man's perspective that many times women's lack of initiation absolutely comes across as lazy; regardless of the intent. That said, the dynamics of every relationship are a little bit different.

I appreciate your opinion bc now I see that he might be getting the wrong idea! As awkward as I feel initiating it I’m going to move out of my comfort zone and see how it goes. I’m 58yrs old and it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks lol

No I don't believe a guy should have to chase anyone. If you want something with the guy, I truly believe it's 50/50. Meaning, the woman should also be making an effort not expecting the guy to always chase her.

If you don't bother to make an effort, it will just give the guy the impression you aren't interested and eventually he will move on. Women today really need to stop expecting the guy to do all of the work.

I know it’s ridiculous to think that they can know what I want when I want it, but I’ve shown and expressed verbally how much I dig him and have only turned his sexual advances down once in 5 months bc of it was impossible to make it happen at that point. I don’t know why I find it so difficult to initiate sex!
