An Ex missed after relationship mostly because they do not like to lose. Often, they are control freaks. If they were really in love then they would have gotten back together with her.
As true as I think that can be, I also think there are other reasons too.
What if he wanted to get back together but she didn’t feel like she could then. Now he’s with someone else but still misses her at times.
Nah, he misses losing and control. So much so that his Risks his girlfriend to regain it. Not a respectful and thoughtful guy
I’ve been reading some advice on in from psychologists but this isn’t what they’re saying. Apparently it’s normal to miss the good aspects you shared with someone.
Of course it is and want to get them back and control them. Without those feelings you described there would be no interest. If he wanted you truly then he would have made it happen. This I know as a guy.

He did try. I didn’t want to then.
But I do agree with if someone wants something they’ll make it happen (within reason).
They likely regret breaking up with you?
