What do women look for in a man?

Women want a confident man. What “confidence” means from woman to woman varies. What a “man” is from woman to woman varies too. I know that answer is unsatisfactory, but women are too diverse to make a blanket statement of how they like their confident men.

Now, I have no idea why (of all the personality traits available) women seem to value confidence above the rest of them. Has never made sense to me, but almost all men like boobs and no one knows why either; so I imagine it’s like that

Well, we actually do know why men like boobs lmao It's an evolutionary thing since they signal health and high estrogen levels, along with showing good sexual dimorphism to distinguish them from males. Also, there is the somewhat creepy link between them being used to feed babies. They are sexually attractive because the better they are, the better they are at feeding babies.

My definition of confidence in a man is just one whos not afraid to be himself no matter who he’s around. Most assume confidence is all about being brave enough to approach someone and ask them out. Or they assume being confident means the guy can't occasionally doubt himself or have insecure moments. I dont seek that stuff. I dont need an arrogant cocky dude who thinks he's the shit. I just need a guy who isn't afraid to be himself, whether its shy/introverted, ambivert or extrovert. Being yourself is whats confidence is all about to me

Just keep in mind that if you actually became/tried to be everything women say they want you would then be rejected by them because you're acting too much like a woman. Or they would pretend to be into you - which could be true on some level - but they're not into you as much as the guy who shows up and knows who he is & didn't need/want to ask women how he should be.

Better to decide who you are and then find someone who accepts you.

Im laughing because this is true. Thats why i always say i want someone who is their true selves (with their true self being similar to what im into), knows that they want in return, and is not someone pretending to be what i want just to “get me”. 2. Similar values
3. Traditional masculine (independent, leader, strong, breadwinner, handy, protective, compassionate, good with kids)
4. Handsome, tall, fit, good style, hygienic
5. Playful, introspective, intelligent, patient.
6. And most importantly, wants to be married until death due us part! with 4+ babies and a puppy and a kitty.

As for a universally desired trait: confidence.


And pretty universal, though there are some exceptions: a man that has his sh*t together.


And then everything else really varies from woman to woman.
