Should I send a Valentine's Day gift to my favorite employee?

This girl is only a couple years older than me, and we've been meeting each other for almost a year. She never said anything about her "boyfriend/fiance/husband" (if she has one). However I did see that she has a ring on her finger.

She sometimes notices when I pass by (though not all the time, just sometimes). She has taken far more interest in me than any of my coworkers where I work at. She is a supervisor at her job (again, not where I work at; but that's a position far, far above where I'm at, at my workplace).

She's Hispanic/a Latina (and possibly white), she doesn't make most of her feelings known for me but she still somewhat conversates with me.

I know that when she talks she makes a flirty tone (at times though, this is not on a very consistent basis). She is smokin' hot.

To clarlify, I'm neither her employer nor employee. I'm just her customer, and I shop at her store quite often

You have to be VERY careful with gifts, especially super personal or "sweet" gifts. Especially in a professional setting. AND there will be jealousy if other coworkers don't get anything. Eh, even if you're a customer, it can run into a lot of problems, whether or not she's interested. Now, if you're not working for or with her, then you do have a small amount of freedom compared to working the same company. But it's still very easy to offend. She MIGHT just be nice or flirty "for tips." It's probably a bigger hassle than it's worth because it might not just be seen as a nice gesture (even if it was). Better to get the same thing for a bunch of people, or like roses for all the women (Valentine's Day) than get HER flowers or candy.

I don't know, I tend to err on the side of caution.

An employer or manager should not share gifts with one employee. Either the whole company receives or no one receives.

It's only sexual harassment if it's uninvited and unwanted sexual behavior, whether verbal or physical, especially by an individual in a position of authority over the victim (such as an employer, or a teacher).

@suzzieQ We're not even coworkers. At all. She is literally an employee I see when I go shopping. We've interacted, became borderline friends, but I've never worked under her name or employer

A good rule of thumb is to not bother if yiu aren't already dating. Sexual harassment in the workplace is no joke whether it be this girl in her store or a stripper working the pole.
