Is it normal to be on a dating app for 5 months and still not find anyone?

I feel like it’s very normal because the chances of finding an actual relationship vs a situationship or casual friends with benefits are slim. Plus you’ve got to take the app and how much traction it gets into account. Unfortunately the popular ones like Tinder, OKC, Match, etc get a lot of foot traffic, but a lot of the people you encounter won’t have genuine intentions. If you aren’t haven't luck, then maybe that’s a sign from the universe to focus on other areas of your life outside of romance and remain patient. The right guy will come when it’s his time to find you.

If you a guy yes that’s very normal, there are lots of us guys that have been on dating apps for years, and still single.

For a woman if you have not been on a date in 5 months that’s not normal.

I've heard that a lot of apps just have people looking for hookups. You'll find someone, but it might take some more time.
