Is it weird that women never see me as more than a friend?

There's only one woman I've ever been certain was romantically interested in me. Nothing ended up developing. Since then, it seems like every woman is only interested in me as a friend, but they all say I'd make a good boyfriend, but none of them are romantically interested. I haven't had a woman flirt with me in years. Is this out of the ordinary?

No, there is nothing weird in this. This happens with many men. I think it is your personality, maybe you are just too sweet and too nice and although these are appealing and likeable qualities but in the long run a woman would not want such a man who is just way too nice, way too soft hearted.

You need to be tough when required, you need to show your mental strength when required. You need to establish boundaries and make sure people don't cross them. You need to have the courage to remove people out of your life if you think they are a negative influence for you. If you are too forgiving and too nice, nobody likes such a person and especially not a woman.

Maybe these are the reasons they don't see you more than just a friend.

No, but from what I've read, the secret is to not focus on any one girl. When you see a girl you're attracted to, DON'T WAIT. Approach and make your interest known immediately. Don't beat around the bush. Ask for a date and if she says no, walk away and don't give it a second thought, her loss. Don't look at any encounter as anything serious. Also, never treat girls "nice". Be a bit of a jerk. Don't be abusive, but don't be a nice guy. Stand up for yourself. Say no. Tell her where you're going, don't ask her. Point is, don't emotionally invest in any one girl until she's earned it.
