I still as a black woman experience racism, not so much in jobs, but housing and dating life extreme. Why? I dont like everyone from my country so why do some people treat their own better.
Racism still exists today due to a complex set of factors including historical, social, economic, and political factors. Few reasons why racism persists:
Historical legacy: Racism is deeply ingrained in many societies and has been for centuries. For example, in the United States, slavery was legal until 1865 and segregation existed until the mid-20th century. These historical practices and beliefs have left a lasting impact on society and have created systemic inequalities that continue to affect people of colour today.
Prejudice and ignorance: Racism often stems from stereotypes and assumptions about different racial and ethnic groups. Many people hold biased views about certain groups without understanding the nuances and complexities of their culture or history. This lack of knowledge and understanding can lead to fear, mistrust, and discrimination.
Economic factors: Racism is often tied to economic inequality. People of colour are more likely to live in poverty and face job discrimination. They may also lack access to quality healthcare, education, and housing, which can lead to further disparities and discrimination.
Political factors: Racism can be reinforced by political policies and systems. For example, discriminatory laws and practices, such as redlining, voter suppression, and mass incarceration, have disproportionately affected people of colour. This can create a sense of disenfranchisement and marginalisation.
Lack of awareness and action: Many people may not realise the extent of racism in their society or may not take action to address it. Racism can be perpetuated by silence and inaction, which can lead to further harm and discrimination.

Racism is a complex issue that has deep roots in historical and social factors. The concept of race, which refers to the categorization of people based on physical and cultural characteristics, has been used throughout history to justify discriminatory attitudes and practices.
Some people may continue to hold racist attitudes because they were raised in environments that normalized or even encouraged such beliefs. Others may have had negative experiences with people from different racial or ethnic groups and developed biases as a result. Still, others may hold racist views because they feel threatened by demographic changes, economic competition, or cultural differences.
It's important to note that racism can exist both within and between racial or ethnic groups. Discrimination within a group can occur based on factors such as skin color, social status, or cultural practices. Additionally, systemic racism in areas like housing and employment can have a disproportionate impact on people of certain races or ethnicities.
Overcoming racism requires recognizing and challenging our own biases, as well as working towards systemic changes that promote equality and fairness for all. It's important to engage in open and honest conversations about race and to support efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Unfortunately people are not fair to others. There are so many people out there that cannot let racism die.
It always has and always will. People live in tribes. Many animals live in tribes, it's the same thing.

Racism exists because man is totally depraved and fallen and there is not Good in us. We are wretched sinners in need of a Savior in the Form of Lord Jesus Christ.
Why does man, who is Broken, believe that He can heal Thyself?
Because it has been artificially propagated and forced upon people for the past 60+ years. While people are divided and fighting against each other, top 1% are getting more powerful and a whole lot richer. Have you ever noticed kids in kindergarten? all of those kids are playing with each other, they see no colors or different nationalities, it is only when they get to a 5+ grade they start hating on other races, do you know why? because they are being deliberately TOUGHT to do so. Not only by school, but also by cartoons, movies, music etc...
Racism is an environmental issue. It can be found in the workplace, schools. and in some homes. It's far deeper engrained in our society, and that of other countries, than we care to admit. But it only takes a look around to see it. As for dating, I am an old white man that has seen far too much in my 77 years, and one of the things is how mixed race couples are treated. Give me a beautiful woman, regardless of ethnic background, color or race. If we peeled the skin off every woman in the world, they would all be the same underneath. Pigmentation is the only deciding factor for some people. As a white man I can appreciate your ethnic background and the pride of who you are. When dating it's essential that you and your dating partner are able to discuss the things that make you different as well as the things that make you the same. Who you are, where you're from, historically, what you love, what you hate. Clear the air to be sure you don't step into a void in your relationship.
Some people really let their past experiences dictate how they view people with similar characteristics as those who wronged them. It's stupid but that's the reality. As long as this happens, such discrimination will always exist no matter how much you try to quash it.
Number of reasons. It’ll always be around in some manner. Despite whatever definitions of race come and go. And it’s visual, skin tone, usually the first thing we see and our brains intuitively derive first impressions. Not all of them good.
Because now the FAR RIGHT pushes it
Racism will always exist in some form or another. You're different than me, that's all it really takes.
cause there's still no cure for low intellect and idiocy.
If you have Amazon prime video I'd recommend the documentary "Hilary's America" and all your questions will be thoroughly answered
Racism will never go away as long as we continue making such a big deal of it and using for political gain.
I guess because it’s still learned at childhood, people will always see differences
