I met someone literally who blames me for everything wrong in her life and has something negative to say about me when I was trying to help her and care - for a month and a half we texted and I was asking her can we talk on the phone, but she kept insisting we meet without doing a verification- I literally asked her to send me a recording or something, but she had excuses why she couldn't contact me

Because it makes them feel better. It's easier for most people to mentally process the idea that someone else wronged them than it is to process the possibility that they were the villlain in a situation.
