There's this guy I like but he's so confusing to me. I've noticed signs, like, he touches my hand or fingers when I pass him a pen or something, prolonged eyecontact, open bodylanguage, when he talks to me his voice gets softer, but he doesn't talk to me, he doesn't ask personal questions, he only talks about work related stuffs with me when it's needed. When we are alone in the kitchen making coffee, he doesn't try to talk with me he goes to his room. But the other day he had to bring some papers to me and he entered in my personal space and when we laughed he leaned towards to me. Today when he went home he said a quick bye to the assistant and first he didn't notice that I was there too but then he saw my clothes or heard my voice I don't know and then he looked back looked into my eyes and said bye in a soft voice.

I couldn’t say if it’s a crush or not, only because those actions could lean either way and if you don’t really know him then it’s possible to misread his body language and behavior. I only say this because I know I’ve been guilty of giving off a certain vibe when I actually had no knowledge it came across as that. If he does like you or at least interested then he may be leery of actually trying to engage with you. I don't know what your workplace says about dating someone at work, but even if it’s allowed that is still a boundary some people won’t cross, whether it’s to avoid gossip, gaining a certain reputation, the aftermath of if dating you doesn’t work out, etc. So if you want answers or for things to gain any traction then you’ll likely have to make the first move. Nothing is wrong with starting up a casual conversation and seeing where it leads.

It is difficult. If a guy is in a senior position consequences become greater and he'd be less likely to risk anything.

How much are you talking to him? I think you need to make it seem safe to him.

I'm an introvert and shy so not that much but I try to ask him questions about his school and neutral stuffs. But I'm not brave enough to dig deeper or ask more personal questions. I think he's an introvert too, so yeah its's not easy. At least he's not afraid of looking into my eyes and smiling at me. What guys love to talk about?

Depends on the guy. I like talking about geopol but I'm odd. we all have our own diverse interests.

At the end of the week, it is customary to wish a co-worker a good weekend and ask what they have on after volunteering what you are doing. If there are other co-workers around involve them.

You maybe an introvert but you can be a conversation starter. Its not hard just ask an extrovert a question and sit back. If you involve him in group convos I think it will help loosen him up.

You can also ask work related questions - that's safe. Slow and steady is your best approach I think.
