Trending & News I prefer to be in a situation where we can speak and feel each other out. That does not mean that the coffee or martini part can not happen before or after the movie. Dark and will he kiss or touch me pressure is too much on a first date. And that the bottom line for every movie.
Coffee date, you can talk, for possibly hours as long as you keep ordering refills and food if inclined to. Movie date is mostly watching the movie in silence, unless you want to be rude to other people. A movie, I would do in conjunction with a dinner before it, and thus probably later in the course of the getting to know her period.
I like a movie date, so we can see if we have similar tastes in movies, after movie we can go eat or whatever and talk about the movie and hangout...
Coffee dates, ita about knowing you, not about just being in the same place for something else

I prefer the coffee date, because you can speak to them freely, chat them up and see what kind of person they are.
Really, can't do that at a movie as it would piss-off the other patrons.
Coffee. Can’t talk durning a movie. No way to ask questions in order to weed out the ones you don’t want in your life.
Coffee date because when watching a movie we aren’t really connecting or talking with each other.
Movie date. I suck at talking to people I don't know well. My mildly autistic brain has never allowed me to be very good at that.
Plus you can just make out during a movie, I don't care if that's for kids
Coffee. It is rare when I see a movie I actually like.
Movie date is great when you don't have much conversation
LOL. The whole point of a date is to get to know each other though
@KostasKouvalis Yes but you can talk during the movie a bit and if you have nothing to say then you can watch the movie and not talk until you find something to talk about it's less awkward than being in front of each other without having anything to say
Talking during movie is considered rude here.
Oh, I thought you meant like in the movie theater. In that case I agree with you, and I know from experience. It's so awkward when you're together for four hours with nothing to say to each other. But to be fair, I think it depends on the person. There are certain people who just don't vibe well.
And my issue is, that I want to feel comfortable enough to be able to say whatever I want without fear of being judged. And that's happened to me before, and then it makes it so hard to have a conversation, due to fear of getting scolded.
@KostasKouvalis Here everybody does it if you want to watch a movie without noise you need to watch it alone if not you ll always have somebody that is going to talk, my grandmther keep on spoiling all movie and series and my mother keep saying the show is shit or asking hundred questions all the time.
Yes with some people it's hard to have a conservation while with other we can talk for hours without even realizing it.
I have the same problem I'm very careful about what I say since some people would be offended (in France you need to be a bit of an hypocrite never say the things directly cause it offend some people. It's annoying.
You're one of the only person with who I know I can be 100 % honest with other people I feel like I walk on egg
Yeah, technically it's considered rude, but in my theater, people have even talked on their cell phone, no one says anything, unless they're one of those people who are just looking to start a fight with someone.
Same. My dad spaces out sometimes, or if he's seen the movie multiple times, my mom will start asking him questions, and he answers them, and then it ruins the movie for both me and herself, especially if I haven't seen it. I hate watching movies with her, and I hate when she starts suggesting movies to me, because she always ruins the ending. Like, why would you tell me that Jean Claude Van Damme dies at the end?" That makes me not wanna watch it. I was FURIOUS that the last James Bond movie was released in the UK two weeks prior to the US, because by the time it was released here, I already knew that he dies, and it ruined the whole suspense element for me.
Yeah, I agree. Once I get to know the person, and know they're intelligent and aren't woke or PC, we can chat for hours. We don't have to agree on everything, but we should at least respect each other's opinions.
Yeah I know. I read France still isn't very woke, but it's slowly getting there.
There was one lady at my work, I thought she was cool at first, but she turned out to be super woke, so I started saying the most sexist, racist and vulgur stuff I could think of, just to piss her off. She ended up snitching on me, but I only got a warning, so it was worth it, especially since everyone hated her, but no one had the balls to do something like that to her. I think I did it, because I honestly didn't care if they fired me, 'cuz I don't like that job very much.
Awwwwwww, thanks. That means a lot to me. You're one of the few as well. I was only holding back on sexual stuff, because I know you're not into that much.
@KostasKouvalis If you want to talk in movie theater you can just go during the day cause there's nobody there, people only go at night at least in France.
I only watch movie and series with my mother when I have already seen them or if I don't care much about them cause it not it ruin it but I don't mind re watching a movie with her especially with my sister cause she make lots of funny comments / my grandmother too make lots of funny comment so much we don't even hear all the movie since we laugh so much XD
Yes, respecting each other is the most important stuff
It's mostly young rich people from Paris that are a bit woke cause I can assure you young people from the country side are even more conservative than people from my grandmother generations (this is because of the Muslims immigration, they're very conservative and thus French young generations became extremely conservative too), we have more chance of turning conservative than woke. which is great.
This is hilarious, I would have loved to see her face XD
yes, and it's really nice of you to have did this ^-^
Yeah me and my buddy went to go see Toy Story 3 in the middle of the day, and we were the only ones in the theater, and we were laughing so loud, one of the employees came in.
I don't go to theater much anymore, because it's so expensive. But I will probably go for the new Indiana Jones, but I might wait a few weeks.
Yeah, it said that the French have always been patriotic and did what they though was right for their people, and never cared about anyone else's feelings. They were always very protective of their culture and lifestyle. Even Macron pissed off all the Muslims because he said he's not gonna pass any hate speech laws just because Muslims are offended, because he believes in free speech and straight up told them that criticizing Islam isn't illegal, chopping heads off is. I was very disappointed that Putin told Russians to stop making fun of Muslims, because he doesn't want terror attacks. What is this saying.
The French are genuinely pleasant people, as long as you don't mess with their culture.
Oh it was worth it. LOL
"Oh my Goddddddddddddd!"
She pissed me off even more, because she would always twist what I said and she was a hypocrite. I finally told her, she shouldn't scold me after she said Indians don't resect women.
Really? You think it's nice? Why? I have other stuff. LOL
Coffee date , so we can get to know each other and talk
Movie dates are nice, but coffee date is my preference.
Neither, gaming date, but a movie is better than sitting there just talking.
Mmm…. Be telling
But I do like a coffee 😂
And a movie later on ….
So where does that put me…? 😂🤔
Neither. Dinner date.
Best option by far.
I PREFER a coffee date until I get to know someone. You can't talk on a movie date.
Gm. Coffee would make me more anxious. Oviedo, you can't talk. I guess coffee , just because you can talk.
