Could be that a lot of older women in their 30s are being passed up by men in their 30s.

The reason we have those numbers is because of bullheadedness. Proud and not ready women for the most part as they think they can have it all. Then they wake-up 26 unmarried and realized maybe 30 by the time they get married. And simultaneously, their girlfriends are getting married, working, and popping out babies.

In my area women, especially PhD educated women, match and general population exceed men. It is easy picking here. 52% women and 48% men.

saw something about this a while back and from what i remember it's apparently because younger guys dont go out as much as girl, tend to spend wayyy more time indoors and also tend to have hobbies like video games that keep you even more indoors (so you have a lot less chances and time to meet girls especially if your already busy with college or a job) plus guys are less interested in dating than girls a that age and are a lot more into just hooking up. also girls are more likely than guys to date slightly older too

I doubt this is true but there are currently more men on the planet that are under 40 then women, on the other point, i reject women in my age range and go for younger because they are only interested in me now they are in decline and they have kids. I would never go with a woman who would not be with me when they were a teenager. Whether it be just sex or a relationship.

The gap can be explained by:

1. Some guys dating multiple women.
2. Lesbian couples.
3. Older guys.
