Who is more likely to give their son advice about girlfriends or dating in general? Is it more likely the mom or is it the dad?

It should be the mom, because she would have firsthand knowledge of what girls are looking for in a guy. But if a son isn't looking for relationships right away, he'll probably be more comfortable talking to his dad about how he can get sex, even though by talking to his dad, he won't get the firsthand knowledge of what makes women tick in the same way he would if he talked to his mother.

Depends on the parent. I never asked either of mine. Mom thought I was gay and dad told me that they're not just for sex, as if I ever expressed interest in other men or stated that I just wanted to fuck.

Dads will give actual advice, from experience and logic.

Moms will give bullshit female advice which is based on what they pretend girls want with zero reality or logic.

For example:

Dad: Ask her what she brings to the table other than sex, if she gets triggered, or shames you… she is garbage and you need to bail immediately. A female with actual value will answer this question without aggression or shaming tactics.
