Hey introverts, why do bubbly people annoy the heck out of you?

They don't annoy us so much as drain us, mentally at least. Imagine trying to think or get your work done, and this incessantly bubbly, cheerful person NEVER stops talking to you. So you're just nodding and listening, until they finally stop. You are now tired and feel drained of energy. Why?

Extroverts feed off of socialization and being around others. Whereas introverts recharge and do better in small groups, or alone. So of course being around someone that feeds off socialization is going to annoy and drain me of my energy.

Actually, I find extroverts a relief. I can just let them rant about whatever and listen intently. I’d much rather a person talking nonstop than someone asking me questions about myself. Their bubbly personalities also tend to distract me from negative stuff I’m thinking about.

they drain our energy, I highly suspect, we are more sensitive and they are sometimes... oblivious to others and think about their own needs. They are probably related to neanderthals...

and we introverts have some other ancestor, that was sweet and kind and sensitive and wanted to hide in the bushes.

Bubbly people do not ignore the heck out of me. They tend to be talkative and all I have to do is attend to her while she rambles. I do not have to speak much and that is nice relief for me. I am pretty good communicator but prefer bubbly and gracious.

Yeah, despite being very lively and all that she's still very shy around most people. And on top of that, she doesn't drag you to social gatherings, it's perfect.
