What’s a good man’s reaction and movements after a woman has said ‘I don’t know’ when he asked her out?

There is only "yes" and "no". "I don't know" is not yes. I would assume that she doesn't want to go, but is afraid to say no. I would say "no problem" and leave it at that.

It could mean no but it could also mean I really don’t know yet. Sometimes guys ask way too early. I’m also not socially active really so I don’t have experience very much with stuff like this so even a regular sounding date is scary to me.

If someone doesn't give a proper answer it's better to consider it as a no unless we know that person well. Most people when they can't say no directly they will say I don't know

I like when people are honest with me. So if I ask someone out it will be only after I know that person. Its better to hang out when the other person says a yes you know.
