The devil you know is sometimes better than the devil you don't; its normal to be afraid of change, or afraid of failure. But at the end of the day, you've gotta do what you gotta do. If you need to leave, then you need to. No point in being afraid of it, because needs must. You can overcome your fear and you can thrive on your own. It won't be easy, and it won't be fun at first, but standing on your own is a great way to build your resiliency. You can never have too much of that.
