He said meeting is on his terms?

My ex and I have been talking for months. But every time we’ve had an argument he says I’m impatient or rushing him when that’s not the case whatsoever. Then it feels awkward for days. He says we should “talk it out” but says meeting will be on his terms? What does he mean?

Control your emotions or I’m walking out as soon as you start with the all over the place texting and jabbering is what he means.

I do control my emotions. He always tries to make out I’m doing something than I’m not, it’s like calling some impatient because they sneezed for example

Go the other way is all I can say if he is that degrading, negative, and controlling. Ex are Ex for reasons.
