Would you marry someone who loves you more than you love them?

This is a silly question. How can you measure an intangible? It’s not like love is object or fluid etc. also how can you compare love since everyone feels love differently and to a different degree? If you compare how much you love someone to how much they love you you’ll be disappointed every time.
It’s like that stupid holiday called Valentine’s Day. If this years gift isn’t as good as last years does that mean they love you less? Or does it mean they only love you on that day? Do you see the flaw? I love my wife the way I love her. She never questions how much because because she knows I do. I don’t question how much she loves me because I know she does and we don’t compare it against each other.

One time I thought I didn't love someone as much as I did and would say no. But that's mistakes. So yes I would.
If one loves someone even if there is something clouding it, it becomes clear after losing it or pushing through those clouds so one would push through.

Now if we aren't talking love just like welp don't get engaged right away stay with that person for some time, Afterall love is built on affectionate time together. If the love builds then get engaged and married. Just don't rush or force it and if it turns out feelings don't build then I would say no. Because you want to be with someone you love not like.

I disagree with the notion of quantifying love on that level. Once you truly love someone, it’s not possible to quantify it. It’s an abstract concept, and everyone has their own ways of expressing and processing love. It’s not like you can assign a number rating to how much you love someone. It’s all abstract.


I guess my question would be, what is the evidence that the person loves me more than I love them? If it’s something major, I’d either slow down and be patient to let my feelings catch up. Or, if it’s more minor and just a difference in how we express it, yes, I’d marry that person.

If you love that person as much as he loves you, yes marry him, but if you don't love him, and he loves you, no don't marry him because he loves you.
