I was talking to this guy that I study with and we’ve been friends for a little while, we got to talking about our relationships and I said to him that I broke up with my ex a little while ago when he says ‘well he clearly wasn’t the guy for you then’ with a smile.
Could he be happy that I broke up with my ex or something, or was he just being friendly?
