I don’t think he saw the message actually lol. Doesn’t mark read. Anyway he’s not really active on social media so that’s the only place I could think to add him. Also he went to an Ivy League and is really nerdy (in a good way) he has high standards for who he accepts to his network so I’m flattered he accepted lol. My message was really just how I knew him but no invite to get coffee or anything.

I've been on LinkedIn for years and have many connections. It's common to simply accept a connection without making a reply. Unless you really want to get personal with him, just let his non-reply go. See him in public is better than personal messages in LinkedIn.

Don’t double send, you have no idea what’s happening in his personal life. He could be talking to another woman or just disinterested in dating in general. Move on.
