A guy I went on a few dates with adds me to social media but he won't accept my add request, why?

Should I be worried he won't add me to his private account but he follows me? Should I ask him next time I see him. I feel like it may scare him away. Please let me know why he won't accept my add but has followed me? Thank you!

It could scare him away. But if he’s a good guy, he’ll answer honestly and truthfully. Personally, I don’t use social media a ton. So I’ll add people every once in a while and won’t check it again for a while. So there are legitimate reasons in my opinion. I wouldn’t overthink it too much. But you deserve an answer.


So I’d absolutely bring it up at some point. And he should be open, honest, and receptive to your question. If not (ie. If it scares him off), that’s an even bigger red flag. And not someone I’d want as a partner if I were in your shoes.
