How to ask someone out?

Hi girls, I've been talking to this woman online just today so far I do like her and would like to go on a date with her to see if there is anything there. But I'm unsure on how to transition from talking to that, and I'm wondering if maybe I need to wait awhile.

Do you have any advice you could provide?

Thank you I'll keep that in mind, I've been at this point if talking and then I normally get ghosted or it was attempted scam or something else like that.
I was ghosted once after 2 months if talking but she said she liked a few ideas for a date but didn't know how to make it work cause of distance.

I've never had any success so I just don't really know what I'm doing. So thank you.
