Thoughts of men and women best friends?

So I recently met someone, I didn’t think it was something serious to be honest because of how this whole new scene of dating is. But he wanted the real deal and didn’t want something just physical. He communicates well, a hard worker, funny, he texts back fast etc. he recently told me he has a girl best friend who he messages everyday and games with everyday etc. I’ve had past horrible experiences with men having best friends. I just don’t really know what to think. I’m kinda overthinking everything. So I suppose my question is what are the chances of men and women being bestfriends that constantly text everyday and game with eachother.

That's tough. From my experience it's easier for girls to just be friends with guys than it is for guys to just be friends with girls.

As a young woman I have been in 3 relationships the first one lasting 11 months, the second lasting 8 months, and my most recent one having lasted 6 months. 2/3 of them cheated on me and the other one liked a different girl during our relationship so I know what you mean by bad experiences. I would recommend talking to both him and the girl separately (and calmly) asking if they have ever been anything more than friends. Explain it to the guy that you're nervous and have anxiety and communicate your experiences with him. If this guy is really the dream like you have made him out to be I'd really try to make it work, I'd try and get past those insecurities and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT push your past experiences on to him. Let him know about them but do not force your past relationships onto him because it will make everyone's involved feel shitty.
