Leave your thoughts. I'm very interested in what everyone thinks.
All/most of my friends seem to be male girls never seemed to like me and guys were more fun to hang out with as when I tried to fit in with girls I honestly hoped it was a stereotype but they actually wouldn’t stop talking about guys and male celebrities which I had no interests in talking about and I just felt really left out but hanging out with my guy friend everything was just better (I’m a gamer too) we would game together and talk about what we are playing or similar interests or would even learn about each other interests even if we weren’t interested in that thing our self’s particularly (these are high school experiences tho I’m no longer in high school and most of my friends are still male)
I also got severely bullied by girls when I was in school01 Reply

1 yYes. I have close friends of the opposite sex. My Wife doesn't worry about any of them because she has no need to. Whether it be on here or outside of here, it is never anything more than friendship!

1 ySure. It's the wives (and ironically the mens parents) that usually have the problems until they realize nothing will ever happen. I call it more choosing your brothers. The bond you can form with men can be just as tight without there ever being a sexual spark. Some people have that respect and connection. Two like minds that like to bounce off each other once in a while, without the physical stuff.

I'm really surprised how often the Q comes up here...
Yeah but it's harder for men and women to remain best friends once they start their lives and get married, form their families.

Smart and true answer
1 yI think this is something that depends entirely on your frame of mind and openness of mind. I firmly believe that men and women can be close friends. The best friends I have are all male and heterosexual and they are people I trust completely and with whom I can confide in and have the greatest of conversations.

1 yProbably not. I have been close friends with a guy for over 15 years and eventually we slept together. I feel it’s always going to happen eventually

@Unknown2o22 I don't think fifteen years is too long to wait for a goddess like yourself.
Yes. Of course male friends want what other guys want, but they accept if you aren't interested that way in them. Most men want an attractive girls as friend they can show themselves in the public.

Most have been able to tell that we are like brother and sister. Those who got jealous I let go. I am not ditching a lifelong friend over someone I've known for a few weeks.

I know it's possible I myself had em before but I think the odds are much slimmer of it being successful friendship that they don't see each other as anything else than friends, for the most part it seems to be a way to get closer.
1 yThroughout my entire life I've always befriended males more than females. It's odd but true.

Now I don't have time for new friends. Boyfriend and kids. I hardly have time for myself.
Opinion Owner1 yThen, break up with him then if you don't have the time. I don't have time for anything anymore either. It's all about the Benjamins and the papers now 🤑

I don't believe that a man and a woman can be close friends, if there aren't more things circling their heads or one of them has more things than just being friends!
Some may reveal and some may reveal in the right time and some will never reveal!
The only women whom our minds are 100% clear towards are our mothers and sisters and maybe relatives, that's the truth even if everybody hides it and act that they are just friends!
Men and women can never be friends and being totally innocent about it!
Maybe women can but men cannot, you may believe it or not miss dish 😌 - 1 y
Every man who tells you i'm just your friend, automatically be aware that there are a lot more to it than just being friends but the thing is that he's just playing the role of being friends with you and if he truly is your friend, just know that he's a friend with you until he find the right time to upgrade, some will never upgrade and will keep always playing as friends believing that the right moment will come but to tell me that a man is just your friend and his mind is 100% innocent about you, no way!
- 1 y
@TonyMetal___86 But isn't that silly? Why would a guy waste all that time with someone who they're just friends with, possibly for eternity? What if the girl is married or something? Hmm...
- 1 y
Why do you think that there are a lot of divorce? Is it only because there are problems in your marriage? Hell no 🤣🤣
Social media and the whole internet gave you so much reason to not work at all to make your marriage works or to surrunder at some point, why? It's because of the ones you call them friends, they were waiting till this moment and now it's time for the predator to hunt the prey!
They will catch you in your weakest moments, sugarcoating you with the most beautiful words and their care towards you doubles or triples, why? Is it because that want to solve things between you and your husband, hell no 😂😂
Have you heard about the devil in disguise? Looking like an angel or like a sheep and suddenly turns into a monster?
That's my answers towards your question about the married couple, some will just get bored and leave, some will respect tour marriage and never try their luck and some are willing to wait forever because that's everything that they can do and they might be obsessed with you, yes life is strange and creepy, sh*t can happen at any moment!
Miss dish, men and women cannot be friends forever just for the sake of being JUST friends, if you know what i mean...
Men enjoy their friendship with other men a lot more than having female friends and you surely have heard about this, which leaves you with a simple question "than why would they make friends with women?" Well it's obvious why 😜 - 1 y
A man can truly be friends with a single woman hoping at some point that their friendship becomes more than just a normal friendship and a man can be friends with his wife and should be friends with his wife, it's because he loves her and she loves him, she's available for him sexually and emotionally which means he received the max that he can earns which is marriage...
But friendship only? I have my doubts...
Have you ever wondered why i keep saying that if i was married, i'll only see my wife as the only female on earth? Well it's because if i ever think about other women, i might fall someday in the trap or does something wrong, that's why i like her to be my everything and to consider her my everything, i mean i csn surely talk with other women but make friendships ir be friends with other women, nope sorry!
My only female friend will be my wife! @TonyMetal___86 Tony with all due respect mate, you're wrong. I get that what you say is right for you and it might also be right for many others, but that doesn't apply to me! I have female friends who I think the world of. The very last thing on my mind is to even THINK about jumping in to bed with them! I find the whole notion preposterous
- 1 y
@TommyMountainFigure Thanks. I agree, but it's also perhaps a reflection of different cultural values. I had a run-in with a very old guy friend that ended up being quite confusing and actually proving Tony's point (https://www. girlsaskguys. com/guys-behavior/q5260597-go-fish-do-guys-fish-to-see-if-their-close-female-friends-are). It wasn't the first time a guy friend hinted at wanting more, but it's up to me, then to keep the boundary in place when he forgets (and the same for the guy to keep the boundary in place if the girl forgets), which is why I do believe in co-ed friendships...
I'll go have a look at that later Dishy.. The Football is just about to start...

@TommyMountainFigure Enjoy! Heading to the beach. :)
- 1 y
@TommyMountainFigure you're a respectful man, i won't say that you lying or acting like a gentleman because you might be right, i mean after all not all men are the same but if you are what you're claiming to be than believe me you're just 1% or 2% of all men who acts like i said...
