The pain you're going through is what healing feels like. Time does heal all wounds... it's just really awful as that time is passing (at the beginning). You will feel more differently about this than you can imagine at this moment. It seems like time cannot heal these wounds. But you're wrong. You'll have scars, but the wounds do heal.
I don't let myself be heartbroken over anyone. I just deal with it and move on.
