What is a regular guy? I’m not sure how you define that. That is so very ambiguous of a term. What may seem ‘regular’ to me will not be to the next girl. You may want to use the update box and update the question with you definition of what a regular guy is.

I look for good personality, character, intellect, humour, values and so on when dating. Those are just some of the things that are important to me. Does that make him regular if all those traits are good? You can see why this question is hard to answer.

If you do update the question with that definition of regular, I will update my opinion accordingly. If not, I will take it to mean a normal guy. If that is the case then, yes, I would prefer that to whatever other option it would be. Irregular I suppose?

So long as we live comfortably, yeah. First part of reply is good. Then, beauty is subjective and 50k depends on where you live. Is that okay for a huge city? Probably not.

As long as he is financially stable, okay by me, I make my own money in that situation (dating).

I did just that and very happily married him... We now have two absolutely gorgeous and very precious children.

Very regular looking... Although his/our lifestyle has dramatically improved with his immense hard work in building up an extremely successful architectural business.

Of course it's nice and very reassuring to now be financially secure, but I had to support him just as much in those early days, and without ever knowing whether it would be successful or not.

It was thankfully, very much a case of "Who Dares Wins".
