I hate when someone comments on my progress or encourages me, what's wrong with me?

Me too... it's like they don't mean to, but they suck the wind out of my sail. It's like yeah I'm buff... but I want to be something greater and telling me I'm so fucking awesome already is like stealing my energy to keep going further.

I sort of feed off that energy of telling myself I'm not that great and need to push harder. I know I look better than most, but I'm not as good as I could get. So when people tell me I've hit the top it also feels like they're telling me I can't do any better. No... This isn't as good as it gets. Yes... I need to stop drinking and hit the weights some more. Why should I stop at fags walking up to me and offering me modeling jobs?

It just is what it is I guess. Going from one space to another and now motivation seems hard to find when all the fat slobs around me think I'm something greater than the way I feel. I'm 40 by the way and was a fat slob. A skinny one before that. It all reminds me of the Asoeps fable where if you try to make everyone happy, you'll make nobody happy.
