Income is not everything. If you have no debt, you're in better shape than many people who make a lot more than that. Women also want a guy to be interesting and fun to be around. That said, an income at that level makes you more vulnerable to getting dumped.

Monetary success is merely an indication of desirable traits. A man who is unemployed might be so merely because of circumstances, but more likely it's because he

1. Can't hold a job (for various reasons).

2. Doesn't have a strong work ethic.

3. Doesn't find it important.

All of which are kind of red flags.

Personally for me it's not about the money obviously I want to be with an ambitious person but I don't have a figure for me it's more about the connection I have with that person and no matter what we'll make it because we'll make it together
