I reply to texts quickly, if it is important. An important text to me is one where she says she may be a little late or needs help with a flat tire, etc.
I am not into texting for several hours and having full conversations. I'd rather talk to her over the phone, than try to decipher what she is saying or feeling via text.
As for whether I would date myself - no, variety is the spice of life and I am looking for someone different, and unlike myself. The only similar qualities would be that she is faithful and respectful.
