Guys, Would you approach/date the sister of a friend?🤔?

My oldest brother is 3 years older than me. I personally like guys who are older than me. The thing is, the guys I like are in most cases someone he knows or it turns out to be one of his friends as he is quite a popular guy, even outside the city we live in!

I don’t think that guys would approach me knowing that I am his sister. But that is my assumption. Would you approach/date the sister of a friend?

When I was in college, I dated my best friend's sister for several months. Her parents liked me and thought I would make a good son-in-law, but our relationship never developed. She went on to marry another guy and I married another girl.
