Girls, How often do you give your phone number out at first meeting and how often do you ghost that same person?

Rarely, if ever.
No disrespect, but the only people I readily give my phone number out to is family and coworkers... and some of them I rather not give my phone to if I could help it, lol

I only give my number to close friends, or someone I'm interested in, after we've spoken a while first- in person or online. Why? To make sure they're not creeps or weirdos. By that point, I know them well enough that I trust and don't mind receiving a text from them!

If its someone online, they’ll get discord since that's the only thing close to social media/non-phone number app that I have. If its in person, I’ll tell them to give me their number instead

Even people I know well don't have my phone number.

In my life I have gotten many phone numbers from women including some I have never asked for. I can only think of two times that they answered the phone. One ended up being a horrendous date and the other said I took to long to call her. All the others ghosted.
