What has made you give up on dating?

I dated several girls over the course of about a year. Some were nice and a few were just nuts. I treated them all badly. The relationships did not turn out well. I was probably the reason for this but I was a kid and would not own up to it. I went out with somebody and it just was not working out. At that point I was sick of her and was sick of the whole dating thing. I decided I would not call her anymore. I had planned on going away for a few days. Ironically, that was the day I met my future wife.

Seems like nobody is genuine. Can’t find anyone who is actually into you and can be honest. Too many distractions and ways to communicate with multiple people these days.
