Have you ever met somebody who lacks a sense of accountability and is this common in the world?

I used to know a guy who would constantly try to convince me to change my appearance because he wanted to date me but it never occurred to him that I might not want to date him unless he also changed himself for me. He thought he was a big league guy who could call all the shots while I would have rated him a negative 1 out of 10 in desirability. He was too dumb to ask me whether he had a chance with me before telling me he wanted me to look better for him and if he asked - he would have known right away that I thought he was equal to a chimpanzee in desirability. I knew another guy that was a 2 out of 10 that couldn't imagine me rejecting him cause he thought he was higher than me. He told fart jokes and if we did not have mutual friends I would not even accept him as an acquaintance that I see once every ten years.

Hmmm… I am insulted, you see I am a chimpanzee and I rather thought as a species we were kind of cute. That aside, I deal with the public a lot, and it’s mind blowing the people who have no accountability for their actions. The selfishness, lack of courtesy, and lack of empathy is astounding! Just like the guys you mentioned who thought that in the relationship (that you didn’t really have) they were all that mattered. You had to better yourself for them. Brainless and superficial isn’t qualities a girl looks for in a guy. When the right guy (or chimpanzee) comes along he will love you for you, not for what he thinks he can make you into.
