last night i just logged in to my account which I didn’t use for a while, I randomly opened a person’s profile, what a surprise 😂 he was my high school classmate.. he used to stare at me a lot back then.
So I wanted to block him because I didn’t want him to see me there. I tried but the website kept telling me i couldn’t do it at the moment, I tried several times but failed so I decided to just “like” his profile to see if he would match me, yes and he “liked” my profile already so we matched. Ahh. Kinda embarrassing. I would like to send him a message to catch up with him as an acquaintance or something, but I think it’d be weird..

If he stared at you in high school, but didn't ask you out, then yes he was embarrassed or introverted. If he did then this is a second chance.

Admittedly I don't know much about tinder, but I thought the whole thing was swipe left to not match. It kinda seems like you wanted to match to see what he is like in the first place, but don't want to admit it. At this point, why not? You can talk to him and see if he is a creep or just a shy guy that really like you. And if you decide you don't actually like him, then does anyone get hurt? It's tinder.

No he was confident and extroverted. I don't know why he stared at me maybe just curious about me.

I said I wanted to block him right away but something was wrong with the web and I couldn’t block him, then I just had a thought, to swipe right and talk to him as a stranger because I would remove my photos. But it turned out that he had swiped right already so we matched right away when I swiped right.

Trying to block but failed because the website kept telling me something was wrong at that moment, so I decided to swipe right to see if that person would swipe right too, and surprisingly he did already so we matched.
