Idioms and metaphors are common in language. "SHE stole my heart" is a common theme. But seems not everyone knows this. Stockholm Syndrome is either induced by a kidnapper AND/ OR an abuser... kidnapping and abuse are not the same however, as someone can come out unscathed or unharmed after a kidnapping. Especially if they weren't even aware.
