Suppose a guy is a good cook, and he made some really good pasta, side salad and fresh made bread with some home made cookies for dessert. His plan for a first date is to meet in a park. Would you be okay with that or would you prefer going to a restaurant for a first date?
I think keeping it simple and going out to a restaurant is better for a first date (I’m sure other women wouldn’t mind the cooking) . I know there’s always pressure to stick out and be unique but sometimes just keeping things simple and using that simplicity to see if you actually connect with the person first. The picnic can definitely be the second of third date though

I find if a guy cooks for you, he expects a higher level of appreciation for lower quality food, and also he expects compensation because of the time and effort he put into making your food. I once had a friend get mad at me cause I left his house an hour after he made me pasta and he said he spent 3 hours preparing the grocery food and making the trip to the store and it was rude for me to leave after an hour at his house.

Restaurant first date > first date at his place.
Even if I know this guy, I don't know how he'll react if the date doesn't go how he hopes. Restaurant is public and safer.
Second or third date, if no red flags are found, I'm open to him cooking for me.Cook for me! 💕
I would swoon over a guy cooking for me. I can go to a restaurant anytime.
Can't really answer this because I would prefer for a man to cook but then I'm very picky with food, so a restaurant would give me more options as to what I like.
im not going anywhere that's not in public for a first date unless I've known him a while
A picnic that he planned and cooked himself would have me smitten, ngl
A guy cooking. 😍 so sexy watching a man cook for you.
I like going to new restaurants. I am a risk-taker when it comes to food.
Latter. It'd be so fun and romantic!
