Are you better at cold approaches or do you need a warm lead before you ask someone out on a date?

I believe a cold approaches requires more skill but a warm lead is a safer bet and uses too many resources, open to opinions

Oddly enough, I think I'm often more comfortable asking her out spontaneously, because then I won't be worrying about it beforehand. I like to just walk over and start a conversation with her and see where it goes.

thing with men who do cold approaches is, they often train themselvs not to care what others think. then they start living their life, not caring what others think, and that makes them come off as being inconsiderate, and no one wants to be around them, whether men or women. what makes a person attractive is how in tune they are with others. pick up artists purposely tune out because they have to in order to absorb the rejection. by being out of sync with people, pick up artists become outcasts. more often than not, you will find that pick up artists are unpopular with both men, and women

interesting take, you consider men who use warm approaches as thinking and cold approaches as what not thinking, that's fascinating, you view not caring what others think to be the same as indifference? to be a leader you have to have your own vision but also considerate of others.

Seeing how i only have 1 rely from both man and woman its hard to say what is truly better

men who do cold approaches aren't really thinking. they approach a woman regardless of whether she notices him or not. it's just blindly approaching women, whereas with warm approaches, you have to consider whether or not she made eye contact, or has the right body language before approaching. i dont know if not caring is the same as indifference but most pua come off as being inconsiderate, like a pushy salesman. if you're a pushy salesman, sometimes people will not buy your product, even if it's a good product

there actually is something more important than critical thinking, that needs to be included, and that is courage, bravado, confident, audacity.. these things give a man that uumph to approach in the first place, which is what you get with a cold approach, a man does not need all the facts to take action, a warm approach may seem better but how many approaches are truly warm

To plays devil advocate a warm approach in my opinion might be going to a friends party, a wedding, coworkers night out, some sort of familiarity but ultimately in the realm of romance you can't weight for a bunch of green lights, those come later, a man only needs a few green lights, is she attractive, is she the right age, stuff like that is all a man needs to get a conversation going

lf a guy jumps in the ocean, nude, and tries to catch fish with his bare hands, does that make him brave, and confident? yea sure, you may say that, but is he catching any fish? no. meanwhile the guy with the fishing pole, and no bravery and confidence gets the fish. same thing with pick up artists. they get no females despite the bravery and confidence. and l guarantee you that pick up artists have 0 confidence. you can be confident in a specific act, such as skateboarding, but that doesn't mean you're confident with yourself, and l guarantee all pick up artists lack this confidence

you become confident doing an act by virtue of repetition. you can become confident in changing oil because you;ve done it so many times, but this doesn't make you confident in yourself. this is what you're seeing with pua. the pua's flaws far outweight their confident speech. so what you see with pua is that they become confident in delivering the speech, but their flaws still exist. low self esteem, no social circle, no respectable job, no sense of humor, unable to relate to others, dysfunctional family, inconsiderate, inability to read the room, etc. you get where this is going. being able to deliver a speech still makes you a low value man, which is why, at the end of the day, even if a pua is able to get a phone number, he can;t get the female to respond
