I'm not sure if it's usual but I dated some very wealthy women when I was single. The wealthiest I dated was a real-estate engagement. She was practically a millionaire for all I could tell living in the most luxurious apartment in Roppongi Hills.

I really liked what she was teaching me and I taught her some parallel ideas in fields I learned like behavioral economics and even, to some extent, computer science.

Another was very famous swimsuit model in Japan. But I didn't talk to her initially like I want to have sex with her. I was genuinely interested as a visual arts/CompSci dual major about the artistry of her craft, how she poses, anatomy, composition, photography, things of this nature.

Mostly I think it's usually education and class if men struggle to date women who earn much more than they do. They're already rich and can take care of themselves so it's not necessarily that they are looking for a provider. They are looking for someone who can challenge them intellectually.

Perhaps don't open up with salary! Sometimes I think those of us who are educated don't excel at social skills. I definitely had my growing pains fresh out of uni. But you can learn; there is a way to navigate a lot of women if you apply your mind to it and take notes and don't rely on what should ideally work, but what actually works.

For example, I was socially aware enough at least that being a CompSci major and software engineer is typically the most uncool thing ever unless I am talking to a girl who shares the interest. Last thing a girl we meet at a social event typically wants to hear about is data structures and algorithms. So most of the time I made mention of my job brief and abrupt and steered the conversation back to her job.

Never be afraid of rejections. It's a win-win scenario. If a woman rejects you, you win because you find out you're not her type. Be proud that you were bold enough to learn this instead of cultivating fantasies too long that will never come true. And if she accepts you, obvious win.

Yes, I was a brilliant student of my class. I have a successful career ahead but I am still not wealthy. I don't have any kind of addictions. I am just scared, wealthy girls will date me or not or it's just waste of time?

Why scared? A wealthy girl won't bite you. You dont have anything to lose if you tried to talk to a wealthy girl and take her for a coffee and chat with her and take it from there. It might work out or not. If she ended up liking you then thats great. If she didn't then you at least have tried and learned the possibilities. You will never know or learn anything without trying first. Often people from rich families end up marrying people from richer families, but there is exceptions
