I would advise a bit more time. Let the bad feelings from the break-up cool a bit so you don’t make “rebound” mistakes and end up worse off. Study up on social skills. You don’t need to be a “player” or anything, but can learn and gain confidence in yourself. If you’re a half-way fit guy in his 30s who is not an addict, not abusive, not a creep, and stable, believe me you will be sought after. There is no rush, time is on your side.
