Is it wrong that I don’t want my ex to speak to my family?

So me and my ex cut things off about a year ago and he got in a new relationship. He still stays in contact with my mom which I really don’t like. by the way I live with my grandparents and care for them. So my mom called me one day and asked if I felt comfortable with my ex coming by to see my grandparents to just check on them and say hey… but I said no because it’s been a while like why do u want to see them all of a sudden? Plus you know I live with them and care for them…And again he’s in a relationship so how is his girlfriend gonna feel about that? Am I wrong for feeling that way?

I don’t think you are necessarily wrong. When I broke up his ex - his parents basically told me to stop by at any time and keep in contact and I truly believe if I reached out (6 years later) they would love for me to stop by, but I respect the boundary of not keeping up with his parents because his parents should be left in the past as I left him in the past. I think at the end of the day - if they are close, it’s going to be hard for you to really tell them to just stop.

Yea we’ve been together for almost 5 years so I understand that. It was just a really nasty breakup and I really don’t want him coming by.

That’s normal, the only excuse for this would be if you have a kid together. And he’s still a part of the child’s life

Yea but I live there and care for them still. We ended on really bad terms and it’s just irritating that he would wanna come by to see them.
