+1 yNot career achievements alone.
Otherwise you’ll just be attracting gold diggers and clout chasers, women who are only interested in fame or fortune.
They won’t be in love with you, they will only want the money and clout you can give them.
If you want to attract a gem as you say, you will need great character, great chemistry, and shares values.
If you want someone virtuous, you must be virtuous yourself. If you want someone to love you for you, you must have natural chemistry (being yourself should be enough). If you want someone that gets along with you well and has little to argue about, you’re looking for someone with shared values, someone who looks at life in the same or a similar way.
Continuing on with the shared values, if you don’t want a shallow girl, you’ll want to find someone who values depth of connection, someone who loves and cares for you in a way that transcends the physical.
They’ll stay by your side even if you got a terminal illness or if you got into a freak accident.
Depth.
Now, if you just want to attract women in general and want to be attractive in general, I’d say charm, charisma, and personality is number one.
Great looks will simply make that all easier. Like 10’s can have mediocre game and still have great “success” at attracting women in general. And 5’s will need to have really great game to have “success” at attracting women in general. So looks matter in terms of affecting difficulty level, but at the end of the day it still comes down to your charm, charisma, and personality as the primary movers of what makes guys attractive.
Gems are unimpressed by looks. Looks may get their attention for a second, but bad character or personality will immediately turn them off.
Achievements can help a lot IF they contribute to your personality and character in a positive way.
For example, confidence, leadership, perseverance, tenacity, mental toughness.
All those things are very attractive traits that most women want in a man.
The question is… Are your achievements building those desirable traits within you? Are your achievements shaping your character and personality into something attractive?
I hope that gives you some more clarity. 🍻00 Reply

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yOf course. The problem is, the VAST majority that will want to "get to know you"... are doing so because of what you DO have... and that's... all of the financial status you've accrued from your career and achievements. I'm not a bad looking guy... just shorter, but athletic, and I have my flaws. But I couldn't even get females to give me basic public courtesy the last several years courtesy of my "lack of status." Well now... that's changed around... and lo and behold, now they give me that courtesy and want to "get to know me." But I want them FAR AWAY from me now... because they SHOWED their true colors. For years. Beware, my friend. Open yourself up at this point... and there's a GOOD CHANCE you'll get taken for the ride of a lifetime-ending in a fatal wreck. NEVER forget how you got treated before you made it up... because who you are as a person didn't change, what you were about didn't change. They DID. Those will NOT be the people that you will be able to count on when you need it most. That's a guarantee.

Asker+1 yI have seen people change their colors. When I had nothing, people laughed at me. Now, I am somewhat successful, I bought properties and a car. More people want to be my friends. I have started ignoring them.
Opinion Owner+1 y2 tips. Try to appear as average Joe as possible-that way the people you meet from this day forward don't know the extent to which you're heading up. 2. The people in your past-since they didn't want to ride with you during the struggle and get to know you? They're history. Permanently. This is what most wannabe celebrity types, wannabe rapper/drug dealers don't know. Most WELL OFF people... don't advertise it. 3 huge chains, new Jordans, designer locs, booming car system... are NOT signs of wealth. Those are signs of a wannabe who's insecure. Middle America craphole towns are FULL of people like that, pulling into every gas station buying 2 for 99 cent blunt wraps ok? Why do you think they're there? Because they can't AFFORD to live in the Hamptons or Topanga Canyon-which is where the REALLY wealthy are. So they're trying REALLY HARD to get someone to notice them. Most truly wealthy pay for private school education, have traveled to multiple continents prior to age 21, don't refer to people as "bitches and hoes," have an extensive investment portfolio, and aren't dripping with discount jewelry. But a lot of women THINK those guys are well off, because they try REALLY HARD to get noticed. By wiping out the people of your past, and appearing to be Mr. Average Joe from here out... it's likely you'll find someone from a similar educational, social and financial status-who doesn't need your possessions. Stanford grads don't marry Section 8 baby mamas, and there's a reason for that. They're not in the same circle.
Asker+1 yI agree with you. People who laughed at me are history. I hate showoffs. I am living a simple life. But the problem is girls think that, I am a loser with no intelligence, no money and no future plan. So girls aren't attracted to me. I am tempted to show off but I am still trying to control it. I waiting for that real girl who accepts me with my imperfections and simplicity.
Opinion Owner+1 yLet them think that. Trust me, let them. You don't have to do ANYTHING to them... they'll do it to themselves... and very shortly... poetic justice will be taking a chunk out of their asses-and they'll be looking for a fallback. You see it every day. Women in prison pen pal sites looking for "financial stability"... NOW... because no one wants them. They laughed at a guy like you, and now poetic justice got their ass. I just saw on Houston Craigslist under resumes the FIRST AD TODAY... is from a single mom who's homeless with her kids... and has no way to pay for the motel. Photo of her up, fat ass in tights, dime a dozen... offering to "sell content." Once AGAIN... someone who laughed at you in the past-and poetic justice now has her by her fat ass.😏There are a LOT of them. Drive by, smirk. Just smirk. That's what these people don't get... no one's doing it to them... they're doing it to THEMSELVES.😊
+1 yFirst of all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What you may not see as attractive is what makes another persons knees buckle. Second, if the sports players you’re talking about are the pros on tv, then they have good and really high paying jobs and work out A LOT. Third, you’ve gotta have an attractive personality. To me, if you’re hot on the outside but have an ugly personality, you’re not that attractive. If you’re not good-looking to me but you have an amazing personality, you’re much more attractive.

+1 yThis doesn’t make sense, no woman is genuinely going to be with you because of your “career or accomplishments”. You will attract gold diggers who want your money and will leave for the next highest bidders and that is it

Second of all you need to be "world class" as in millionaire athlete if you hope to attract girls without working on your appearance.
So the ideal answer is yes but the realistic answer is no chance.
You're better off getting shape, getting that hair cut thay beard trim buying some nice clothes that fit you well and then you can actually get girls you want instead of settling for the one girl who will have you10 ReplyI dont think this works with most girls. Those that it does work on are probably the ones you dont really want.
With achievements it depends what kind of achievements but not at the main attraction.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yEh no. Most people out here saying that only personality matters when it’s clearly not the case. Personality AND looks matter. Looks attract me, personality makes me stay. I would go on a second date with someone who is average looking but has a great personality. However, if a guy is very handsome but is super boring, i wouldn’t give him the time of the day.

Asker+1 yYes, there are great people out there. But it's like looking for a needle in haystack.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 ya guy has the power to attract girls if they're funny and nice. because that always wins when they're looking for an actual serious relationship. i know most would agree. but we are really not THAT difficult to please. especially when we've been through shitty guys.
now if they're looking for surface level, then sure...

Important for women are:- Status
- Money
- Charisma
- Game
Some point can be weaker but than must another point stronger. Money f. e. can be compensated with much charisma. Visual appearance is for women secondary/not important

+1 yTo a degree. If a potato has a better personality then you still won't have much luck.
One of my best friends growing up was the king of 1st dates. He was smart, athletic, handsome, good career (pharmacist), but was incredibly boring. Women flocked to him but he didn't get a second date until his 30s. So yes it helped him because without it he stood no chance even with being good looking.

exactly. Personality is king.
- +1 y
Yeah I don't know what’s up with guys thinking women don’t care about personality or looks. Just money and status. It’s very weird.
- +1 y
Then, these SAME guys complain about how the women that are willing to talk to them only want them for their money.
976 opinions shared on Dating topic. To an extent I think so. I know way too many below average looking men with solid careers (and/or inheritance) that were among the first to get married (and stay married) to write that off. Reasonably assured financial security counts for quite a bit, it would seem.

+1 yWhen you open your mouth, you need to have something to say. Simple as that. Achievements, skills, and passion can be attractive, but it's not going to reel them in by itself. In other words, it's about personality. There are exceptions to everything, but for most normal people, personality is what counts.

Literally all you need is money. Status. You could be a college drop out with a face like the ass end of a rhino, and multiple women will want you—if you’ve got money, status, property, or businesses.

The only women you’ll find with that crap is the women men constantly complain about.20 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI think personality goes a long way. Men who are confident can pull way more women than a timid guy. Which is why sometimes you’ll see a hot girl with a not so cute guy. Confidence and a great personality actually changes a person’s looks.

Opinion Owner+1 yOh 😮 hmmm ok. That's like having the lowest standards I feel like. Just stay away from the ghetto girls and you'll be fine lol. You could easily find a nice girl in a small town. Small towns, there isn't a lot going on and usually families are big on holding their daughters close and not allowing them to go out. They don't really go out when there is nothing to do anyway. They're big on gender roles, if you also want that. As long as you have a job that will bring home the bacon and you won't be living paycheck to paycheck, you can save up a little each month. The family and the girl will be fine. You don't need to be a millionaire.
