That is common. However, it is rare for you to be approached by girls that are pretty enough for you to want them to approach you. If you believe they would be doing well they will approach if you give them the opportunity. If you believe you would be doing well, you will never be approached unless the girl wants something from you.

No doubt you are hoping for some magic so that girls out of your league will approach. However, there is no magic. You must settle for girls you can get, (typically big girls) or else wait until you are older and can attract women in their thirties that typically have lost their bloom.

It's interesting reading the girls' responses. Most guys believe that women are getting approached "all the time", but they're really not. I think a lot of women don't even know how to handle a guy approaching them, at least in my experience. Most are pretty awkward and can't make conversation. The only thing I can think of are girls glancing at me but I don't know if that was a look of interest or just regular glancing. There was a time I was sitting beside by the bus stop wearing a dress shirt and tie waiting for the bus and some girl two girls in a car driving by hollered something at me about looking good -- don't know if that was just for jokes. Actually the most recent approach was when I went to get a flu shot and the nurse told me to wait on the chairs so I sat down and a few seconds later a guy approaches me and says they told him to wait there and I said "me too they told me they same thing" and he asks me if he can sit next to me. He wanted to sit next to me when there were 3 empty chairs. I froze at was like "uhhh"... And he said "it's ok I'll just feel rejected" and walked away. It was awkward. Somehow, I managed to NOT fall backwards off the "stage" (a pool table with two folding tables nailed onto it), about an 8 foot drop, from my head to the floor behind me. After the show, she & I sat together in a booth and talked and then she started making out with me! She gave me her name and phone number and we talked on the phone a couple times after that and the last I heard from her, she was moving to New York!
The following summer, I met Sally and, after our fling of a few months, she told me she was just using me to make her hubby jealous!!
