Being humble I’m not bad myself so it’s not a matter of being in their league.

BUT I am told it’s not good to go for guys like that because they will most likely hurt me.

I mean at the end of the day these are the only kinds of guys I’m attracted to so I don’t know what to do.

girl if its bad, then we are in this together. I've been branching out to old good looking guys now. At least they say they are trynna settle down. But yeah feel like you're putting yourself at risk of hurt because they have more options than guys who are less attractive. So when a better option comes you get dropped. And also, I don't know I always be getting self conscious with them too since they usually care really well for themselves. feel weird no makeup/hair done around them. Its a curse to like them. But what can you do. you like who you like. Also, tbh tho I had the HOTTEST crush on this one guy. And my friends were all like wtf he's not cute to me. He was lit so sexy. Everyone's definition is diff too

And total side note but I’ve been doing high maintenance stuff to look good when I’m low maintenance. Like I always get blow outs, simple nails, lash lifts and brow lamination. My confidence has high sky rocketed since.

I feel you I do my own hair, my own eyebrows and my own nails! I just kept practicing until I got it. I stopped getting waxed too and I epilate at home. It’s saved me a lot of money. The only thing I pay for is my lashes which is once every 2 months or so :)

It depends. I think it's very telling. Most women who have this deep need to date a very attractive man typically have low self esteem and self loathing. They want to be associated with only really attractive men because they feel like it increases thier self worth in the eyes of the rest of the world. Unfortunately this doesn't actually do anything for thier self esteem amd in reality works the opposite way as they try to control the guy which many times just drives the guy away.

So is it bad? It's not bad in of itself. But the act of it is typically not actuated by healthy motives.

A person's physical attractiveness is a very very small part of thier overall worth. It just gets inflated because human beings are very shallow on the surface till they really get to know someone.

I'm gonna be honest with you... I think that's a sign you're very insecure... you try to prove to yourself that you're worthy! ... that you're pretty and high maintenance enough... Well guess what... Girls who are actually like that, they get good looking and quality guys... And not only that, they get spoiled by them... while you got played and neglected by not so great guys... so, think about what would happen if you actually get with a high quality dude lol... I would say it could be bad because really good looking guys are the minority of guys so they know that a bunch of women will go for them and they have less to worry over finding a woman interested in them.
But at the same time chances are there that you find a guy that´s ready to settle down.
