Hi! So my boyfriend and I were playing card games as we were watching a movie at his place and out of the blue he asked if I wanted a diamond. What does that mean?

Probably thinking about proposing on some level and is trying to feel you out. (Obviously he doesn't want to propose if you're not on the same page, but he may not feel comfortable asking you to be allowed to ask you if that makes sense.)
