How early is too early to give a promise ring?

I’ve (15F) been in a relationship with my boyfriend (15M) for almost 9 months. Our one year anniversary is in late October, and I’d like to gift him a promise ring for it. This is the first relationship I’ve actually been happy in and I truly love this guy, but I don’t know if we are too young or if it’s too early. Can someone give me some advice?

Update: I ended up getting him the ring, I gave it to him the day after our anniversary because something came up the day of.

He cried when I read out the promises and he adored the ring, and turns out he got one for me too and gave it to me on Halloween, and I also cried lol.

I'm really not sure that I want to answer this question because
I think it is the coolest it's the cutest it's the most pure of heart question and I just think it's cool.

Okay so if you get him a ring the odds are he probably might not wear it he's going to feel maybe you're trying to go somewhere way too fast but I don't know I don't know you and I don't know the guy I hope I'm wrong

But I can tell you this the odds of you guys making it another year are pretty slim once again I hope I'm wrong I don't want to be negative on here I just want to be honest with you.


When I was in high school there was a couple that they were the same way you guys are and they lasted pretty long even after high school they got married but it didn't last much longer after that

And I know you're in love with him and it's pure love or is pure puppy love but no matter what it is you're in love with him I think you ought to get him another gift at something different a ring to a guy means he has to commit and that might scare him off you know him better than we all do so you do what you think's best don't listen to any of us you know we don't know him we don't know you you do what you want to do I just think about it really hard first but like I said I love her your heart is

I’ve gotten him a couple of rings before just because, and he’s gotten me a few. My main worry is actually that he’ll think we’re going too fast. I may wait a little longer than a year just because of that, but I honestly have more trust in this relationship than I have ever had, he makes me feel so safe honestly.

Well I hope it helps you. I felt I needed to be honest and I needed to do it in a way that didn't your break your heart and I would say you honestly got this you know it the right thing is to do at least I believe in you with what you just said so good job for being you

Too young for promise rings. For girls because it'll be too meaningful and for guys they won't take it serious because we're immature. I'd wait 2-3 more years before jewelry like that.
