Should I just give up on dating?

Every guy I was interested in either isn’t into me or only see me as this “friend”. I’m nothing more than a friend. Some either got girlfriends or married. I don’t know if it’s because I’m too intimidating, not their type or too quick or serious I don’t know. I am 6ft tall, large built so I’m not a small girl and guys ghost me as soon as I stand up or answer their question on how tall I am. They don’t even wanna get to know me. Even some shorter guys are like this. I’ve been dumped and cheated on for petite/average height ladies. For a couple months I was crushing on a guy and I was going to tell him I liked him, but he mentioned about a “girlfriend” and how he wrote a romantic song for her. That bitch is lucky. Seeing them together, kissing and him picking her up angers me but I leave them along. As tall as I am a guy won’t be able to pick me up and throw me around. I wish I was like 5’4” instead of being a large 6ft young woman.

I had a feeling someone like you would say I’m too tall and I’m not surprised. I’m working on losing weight. I’ve never been on the slender side. I’m in the 250s. My friends are under 5’7 and they’ve been hit on more than me. Guys flirt with them but ignore me. Guys only talk to me to get with my short/average height friends. I hate being 6ft tall. My best friend is 5’4”. The other three are 5’1”, 4’11” and 5’5”.

Well if that's your attitude then yeah.

Most guys do not care about a woman's height. As long as you continue to think yourself as "less than" a smaller woman a guy is probably going to regard you that way. This is YOUR hangup, not his. Stop trying to make it his.

I've been attracted to women from 4'11 to 6'8" so I'm speaking from experience.

How is it MY fault? It’s their fault that I have self esteem issues. I was polite to them. My attitude isn’t the problem. I mean it’s true, most men prefer average height to petite women. Be honest, you wouldn’t date a woman taller thank you, wouldn’t you? Is tall ladies have a hard time dating.

Because, let me hit you with a piece of advice that served me well over the years. You're NEVER going to reach a point in life where people are not mean and selfish. You can't change how some people will treat you. But you can change how you view yourself. I never said it was always easy. But you have to remember your worth. You can't go off a guy who rejects you. Odds are he doesn't really know you. Nor took the time to try to get to know you. That doesn't mean you're not worth it. It simply means he doesn't see it. Laugh it off and realize he missed the boat.
And yes I would date a taller woman. That 6'8" woman I talked about earlier rejected me. But I'm 6'5", I don't run into women taller than me very often. As I said I really do not care about height. I'd date a woman who's 7 foot tall. But a woman who's foot tall probably wouldn't date me. 🤣

Damn 6’8” it must be hard for her. Look I know not every guy will find me attractive and I’m not surprised that people will be rude no matter what, but they can’t go around saying I’m a giant and all that garbage.

If guys are taken I don’t chase after them. I hope I do, but my height is the problem. Guys do NOT like really tall women. I hate being 6ft. My cousin things being 5’8 is tough and can’t get a date, try being 6ft!

I'm 5'5 so I'm on the opposite end of your experience. You know what it's like to be mistreated for not being short enough, and I know what it's like to be mistreated for being tall enough.

Ik how you feel. Well the guys version. It sucks not being the “ideal” partner or the “ideal height” it really does. If I could switch heights with you I’d do it in a heartbeat because I’m 5’4 and every girl wants that “6ft hottie”
