Should I just give up on dating?

I've been constantly trying to put myself out there to get a boyfriend for years but no luck. YET... I know of girls who tell me they constantly get asked for their numbers. Girls who put in no effort but get hit on just wearing a t shirt and jeans. Girls who never have to go out of their way to meet men, just get all the attention.

It just makes me want to give up. Maybe some people just are meant to be alone in life. Maybe dating just works out for some people but not others. I am beginning to feel like life is more peaceful giving up on dating than to constantly have to pressure myself.

And no, don't tell me that love happens when you least expect it. If you never leave the house, you will never meet anyone new- you will never find love.

I used to wear glasses just like you and I realized they just didn’t suit me…they gave me that geeky type of vibe which I didn’t want to exude…so I got contact. So if you also feel insecure about glasses, maybe consider wearing contacts?


Other than that, I think you’re pretty good! I’m assuming you have no makeup on in these photos, and for someone without makeup on, you have pretty nice skin!
