One of my guys friends said this: “how come u didn’t wanna come to our mutual a friends thing” does it make sense if I reply like this? “So it’s not that I didn’t wanna come, I wanted to come but my parents took two weeks off work to go on a trip all together, and it ended up during these days. But I’ll make it up to her by getting her something from here.” Or how should I rephrase this?
