Why do so many women want a man who makes 6 figures ($100k+) for dating or seeking longterm companionship? Would a woman really be disappointed if her man made less than 6 figures?

Love only grows when 2 people choose to stand by each other no matter what obstacles come their way , they choose each other over choosing selfishness and everyone else , Never go for a girl that doesn’t make you her top priority , she is just using you and stringing you along as a convenience , she truly doesn’t love you , she lonely loves what she is receiving from you , Find a girl that wants to be a team partner , that has your back no matter what obstacles you encounter , a girl that makes you her top priority the same way you should be doing for her , that’s a girl you should do your best to keep by your side no matter what obstacles you face , all the other ones kick em to the curb where they belong , When a girl truly loves you , she will wear your shoes like you should be wearing hers when making decisions , Never be someone’s option , you need to be a priority period and treat them as your priority as well , A selfish girl only cares about what is best for her she is more than likely a narcissistic piece of shit that feels no wrong in her doings. I think that’s a generalization. I read a great psychological article once where the author said the happiness in a relationship lay at recognizing our hard-wired ‘cave man needs’.

Deep in our primal brains, men are predisposed to a physical health and indications of fertility. This is where our perception of a woman’s body and what it says about her overall condition is such a strong male trait. Add some tenderness and a belief this person can raise our young offspring in our cave. We want her to be able to tend to us when we get thrashed while hunting a wooly mammoth.

Conversely, deep in a woman’s primal hard-wiring is a desire for a man to be able to provide for her and their potential children. Provide security, safety, comfort, food, and a future. This probably translates well to a male being a provider and physical strength and health are a factor in that.

It’s simplistic and I’m turning a 10 page article into a single post, but I think it has some merit.

Because women seek financial security. Part of the reason why they want to get married. Men tend to want to share their resources, women usually don’t. Men usually marry for love, women marry for their own interest. A lot of women want equality but when it comes to her check it’s her money but his check is their money. Modern women are incredibly entitled thanks to feminism and social media full of simps inflating their egos. Also, thanks to dating apps a lot of women have hooked up with or been flown by celebrities or other high-value men which leads them to think they qualify for relationships or marriage with men at that level even though they are really recreational use only to them. There are two different answers to this question.

From a traditional point of view, where women are looking for a spouse, THAT is what a traditional married it supposed to be. The man is supposed to be the provider. In these days, in USD terms, 100,000 is considered a benchmark of a pay that can give you a comfortable life and the ability to bring up a couple of kids. 6 figures normally means that barrier of 100k. Otherwise, 100K and 999k are different worlds.

My son is in his early 30s, Master’s degree in a STEM field, bought a brand new large home, has $500,000 net worth and makes very low 6 figures. He gets a LOT more action than he did just a few years ago. He doesn’t talk about financials but it should be apparent.

I think the house has something to do with it and that women are changing their priorities at his age. He has proven himself a winner.
